Hi, I’m Matthew — the photographer behind Burst Photos, and someone who genuinely loves turning real moments into unforgettable memories. I’m based in Bexhill and work throughout East Sussex and beyond, capturing wedding days with a creative eye, a relaxed approach, and a passion that hasn’t faded in over 20 years behind the camera.

 

Your wedding is so much more than a series of posed shots — it’s a story. The nervous excitement in the morning, the belly laughs, the tearful glances, the chaos, the joy, and the pure realness of it all. My style is a blend of unobtrusive documentary photography and naturally guided portraits, giving you the best of both worlds: authentic, candid storytelling with a touch of creative flair. I’m a qualified member of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and alongside weddings I also work as the official “people’s photographer” for the De La Warr Pavilion. My photography is trusted by large organisations including East Sussex County Council, East Sussex Tourism & Leisure, and Hastings Direct — but weddings will always have my heart.
